So what did I do with yesterday leftover chicken and rice? I made Chicken Fried Rice. I wanted to make it wild hot at first. But alas, I changed my mind.
Spicy food makes me want to double my plates plus I need to come up with something unspicy for the little guy after that. Even though he sometimes likes to dunk his roti pratha with fish curry, chugs down some water, and continues doing so until the pratha gone. hehe
The best thing about fried rice is, you could throw anything except brick and wood, inside. So this step by step is just a guide.
Chicken Fried Rice with Leftover
Ingredients:
Lefover chicken and rice
1 red onion, diced
Garlic powder
Turmeric powder
Light Soy Sauce
Oyster sauce
Salt
Pepper
Light Soy Sauce
Oyster sauce
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
1. Shred the chicken leftover into pieces.
2. Sauteed some diced red onions until it turn brown.
3. Throw in the pull apart chicken. Sprinkle some garlic and turmeric powder, and some veges if you want.
4. Stir-fry the rice. Add the soy sauce, salt, pepper and oyster sauce and combine everything thoroughly.
5. Garnish it with fried eggs, fried red shallots or just anything..

ReplyDeleteFried rice lah menjadi makanan fav kita waktu kat europe lol.. senang and cepat.. lepas masak chicken rice .. next day ku goreng nasi dia.. balance nasi ku goreng nasi goreng belacan lah.. nasi goreng tomyam lah.. nasi goreng ikan bilis lah.. tks to aji hahaha
